About BADAR Trading

BADAR Trading Spółka z o.o. is a Polish trading company registered in 2006 and based in Łódź. Its established activity is the trade of raw materials and semi-finished products — a business built on sourcing, documentation and moving goods between suppliers and industrial buyers.

Specialty paints, pigments and coating materials are an extension of that activity rather than a reinvention of the company. We are explicit about this: BADAR has not been a paint specialist since 2006, and claiming otherwise would be untrue. What transfers directly is the part that matters commercially — finding a material that is not readily available, establishing whether it can legitimately be obtained in the quantity required, and delivering it with correct documentation.

We do not describe ourselves as a manufacturer, and we are not an authorised dealer for any brand unless a specific authorisation is stated in writing for that product. Where a material is proprietary to a manufacturer, we say so.

Trust in this trade is built on being accurate about what can and cannot be supplied. That is the standard this website is written to.

What we actually do on an enquiry

A sourcing business is judged on whether it answers the question it was asked. Ours runs the same way every time.

The first step is usually translation. Enquiries arrive as a paint code, a photograph, an analysis report, a competitor’s product name or a description of an appearance. Turning that into a specification a supplier can quote — the chemistry, the grade, the format, the quantity and the destination — is the part that decides whether the rest of the process works. It is also the part we would rather do with you at the start than guess at later.

What comes back is either a route or an honest no. Some materials are proprietary processes rather than products; some are made in campaigns and are not available on your date; some are restricted for the use you have in mind. We say which of those applies instead of leaving an enquiry open.

  1. Material and grade

The specific product a quotation rests on, not a category. Where a material is proprietary to a manufacturer we say so rather than offering something adjacent under the same name.

  2. Pack format, quantity and minimum order

Minimum order is set by the manufacturer and the route for that grade rather than by us, and is confirmed against your requirement before we quote.

  3. Price basis, valid for a stated period

We publish no prices, because a figure that ignores grade, quantity, route and destination would be wrong for most orders and misleading for the rest.

  4. Lead time, as the manufacturer gave it

Specialty material is frequently produced to order, so a production schedule rather than a shelf governs the date. We quote that schedule rather than estimating around it.

  5. Documentation for the product supplied

The manufacturer’s safety data sheet and technical data sheet, and a certificate of analysis where one is issued for the batch. We do not author or edit these documents.

  6. Delivery terms and destination

Materials placed on the EU market carry classification under CLP and obligations under REACH, and transport class, labelling and landed cost all follow from where the goods are going.
